Sustainable EU Tourism – Shaping the Tourism of Tomorrow supports European destinations in advancing a sustainable and resilient tourism transition. The project identifies key challenges and best practices, analyses destination needs, and promotes peer learning among Destination Management Organisations. Its activities include surveys, reports, communication campaigns, thematic webinars, and twinning workshops that connect destinations facing similar challenges. Results include a mapping of 31 challenges, 50 best-practice factsheets, DMO twinning relationships, and practical toolkits to support collaboration, capacity building, and implementation of sustainable tourism strategies across Europe.
